Every visual and typographic element on this site is either drawn from scratch for this project or used under its own open licence. Historical data attribution (which source backs which claim) lives on the Sources page — this page covers the illustrations, fonts and map data instead.
Original illustrations
All original artwork is © the Kalinga Atlas project and licensed
CC BY-SA 4.0: reuse and adaptation are welcome, with attribution and
share-alike. Every file also carries this licence in an XML comment at the
top of the SVG itself. None of these are traced from, or a copy of, any
museum photograph or existing illustration — see each file’s own <desc>
for what it depicts and whether it is a generic artistic reconstruction.

Fonts
Self-hosted, none loaded from a third-party CDN. The .woff2 files live in
src/assets/fonts/ (bundled by Vite so both npm run dev and the build
resolve them under the /kalinga-atlas base — see
public/fonts/README.md); each licence text is served as-is from
public/fonts/ so it reaches the deployed site alongside the font it
covers, per the SIL Open Font License’s redistribution requirement.
